Open Sound Control Audio Remote (OSCAR) is a mixed software/hardware framework that is being developed to enable digital control of analog audio devices via a TCP/IP network. By utilizing a handful of modern standards and frameworks, such as Apple’s Cocoa, TCP/IP, ZeroConf, and others, the goal of this project is to enable total recall and automation of existing and future analog audio outboard units via a DAW of choice.
This project is in its initial R&D stage! Follow us on Facebook or check The Process to stay up to date on the progress of OSCAR.
